Aaron Greenberg has done such a great job in tying this up as an Xbox exclusive. Next-next-gen graphics, Vin Diesel, dinosaurs and tech and a ginger-haired heroine - Ark II is a Horizon Forbidden West killer.
Why you do me like that?
Cue the mob saying "Oh it's so lovely when everyone works together"!
I want good exclusive games to play on Xbox too, but when IGN's Xbox editor Ryan McCaffrey says the 'Xbox drought is nearly over' I think he is being premature. The Perfect Dark game has definitely piqued my interest but it was a CGI teaser trailer that set the mood and didn't even hint at gameplay so it's doubtful the game will be released before 2022. And the Ark 2 game with Vin Diesel... the weird graphics that look kind of realistic but move kind of bad... it's jus...
@Atticus_Finch. I’m not talking about the bugs coverage, of course that’s warranted! But I was talking about criticisms for other reasons. Before you accuse others of conspiracies it’s probably best you appraise yourself of the facts about what’s been going on.
Those listed websites and ResetEra classified the game as hateful because of how it represented a group of people. But they then discussed between them whether they should ban all coverage. They worked out or their ...
All those hack ‘journalists’ at Kotaku, Polygon, Vice, VentureBeat and haters on ResetEra who tried to destroy this game with their politically motivated hate-bait articles failed. This is why these major websites are losing the trust of the public who are turning to YouTubers. This shows their campaigns failed.
Jeff Grub is not a journalist he is hack playing up to his politically-focused audience. I don't know how good Cyberpunk 2077 is because I haven't played it and have no interest in buying it, in the short term at least. However I have followed the coverage from the hard left politically focused websites like Kotaku, Polygon, Vice. Gamespot and VentureBeat and they have expressed anger about this games representation of certain communities which is absolutely fine. What isn't fine i...
@LucasRuinedChildhood. You’ve written about 20 different posts in this thread each of them attacking the quartering guy. It seems like you are mountain a toxic campaign of hate against this person. This is not okay, you should not be using N4G to mount attacks on individuals.
@LucasRuinedChildhood.
CORRECTION: You did give respect to Ghost. My apologies I should have written 'some people don't.' It's just that when you then discuss critics' opinions of the game the inferred meaning is that they had an influence on the result meaning it wasn't deserved.
@LucasRuinedChildhood. It's a shame you can't be magnanimous to the winning game, just because it wasn't your favourite choice.
TLOU2 is one of the very best games made but some people felt because it made strong social commentary that means it was more worthy than others, that isn't the case, player enjoyment is more important than political comment. The reality is this was not what everybody wanted in a game especially as it was different from what people ...
'The best game I have ever played'. Now that's a big statement! I'm going to wait until the next-gen version and find out for myself how good it is.
Websites that previously criticised Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Projekt Red for social and political issues are generally marking this lower or finding fault with it. Whereas the websites where that wasn't the primary discussion point, but focussed on the game and the world, are scoring it higher.
Polygon have turned off comments for this article on their website, even moderated comments. Because they don’t want to be challenged on deliberately contentious views which has been written to appeal readers of an anti-Cyberpunk 2077 thread in ResetEra which calls for the game to be banned.
If Polygon don’t allow comment when they on their other stories they shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of the promotion it would get from N4G.
Phil should ask Lisa Su what's in PS5's secret sauce.
@MasterChief3624. 'laying down the groundwork for your saviour in the future.'
You didn't read the whole comment because you didn't understand the context of why I highlighted Monica Rambeau specifically in relation to Brie Larson's behaviour. Your 'your saviour' comment tells me everything I need to know about you it actually means that you champion Brie Larson and her words.
Having seen various video clips of Kratos doing TikTok dances in Fortnite this headline cracked me up!
The real Marvel comics Captain Marvel character is a black woman called Monica Rambeau. Disney brought in Brie Larson, not because she is a talented actress but because it wanted a white heroine and it wasn't ready to have two Marvel films lead by black characters. Larson has known nothing in her life but privilege. Who can blame her for accepting a multi-million dollar role, if it had been offered to me I’d have taken it even if I had to wear a dress, and I’m a man!

@Will_b Don’t cry about downvotes! There’s no rhyme or reason. Even if you say the sun is hot somebody will downvote you! You don’t need anyone’s approval just say what you gotta say.
@Lore. You made me spit my tea out with laughter!
An op-ed that could have been put into a comment on yesterday's story?
I disagree with this point of view as I don't think Phil Spencer has been successful in 2020 judged by his own yardstick.
He took over the running of the Xbox Division back in 2013 and he made the right call in getting rid of Kinect to enable a small power boost to the Xbox One but he hasn't had much success this year.
At last year's Game Awards he revealed the Xbox Series X then later he, Aaron Greenberg and Microsoft proclaimed it to be the ...
